I groom dogs for a living. I have been involved with dogs since I was 15. I have worked as a kennel manager for 10 years, which included everything from answering the phone, to grooming...it was a lot of work. I am thankful enough now to work for great people, at a wonderful kennel facility. I may look young but I have so much knowledge about dogs and cats from working at kennels it's not even funny. I was also involved with taking care of litters of puppies for the 10 years that I helped manage at the first kennel. If you want to include those puppies, I have been dealing with doggies for nearly 15 years!
My dogs mean the world to me, they are my children. Since having actual human children is not in our plans, raising puppies and having my own dogs to take care of once they have found homes is all I need. The time I have to put into raising puppies is great. Since working only one day per week, I am here with the puppies, playing, feeding, cleaning, kissing, hugging and raising them with such love. It is so important to socialize puppies.
Labradoodles and Goldendoodles are being bred by so many people now, don't go by websites alone, they can say anything they want on there. If you have the time please make home visits to meet the breeder and dogs, see how they are raised and how their personalities are. This is another important step in finding that perfect puppy.
Getting a puppy is a huge deal, take the time and do your research. I can say 100% you would be extremely happy with one of my puppies, but you be the judge. Home visits are always welcomed by me and my dogs!!
